About Us
Julsby Labradors is a very small hobby
kennel, located in the San Bernardino Mountains of Southern California. We
currently have two Labradors in permanent residence here, with several other dogs
co-owned or bred by us in the homes of our good friends. We take pride in our English style Labrador Retrievers
and breed on a limited basis. Our dogs are active, well loved members of
our family. It is of utmost importance to us that our dogs have kind, mellow temperaments, with keen desires
to please. Our
dogs have been selected, by us, as excellent representations of the Labrador
Retriever Breed Standard and have done very well in Conformation Competitions,
attaining AKC Championships, Specialty wins, and points towards their
Championships.
All our breeding prospects are screened to be free of Hip/Elbow Dysplasia,
Hereditary Eye, and Heart disorders, before we make the commitment to breed
from them.
We have our resident dogs tested by Optigen to determine their PRA Status
( A1=Genetically free, B1=Carrier, C1=Affected) in addition to their annual
eye exams.
Since we produce a very limited number of
litters, we strive to find the best possible match for our girls. Our
puppies are raised in an active family environment, ensuring them plenty of love
and attention. All our puppies are sold with
AKC Limited
Registration, unless otherwise arranged. Prior to leaving our home, our puppies
will have received a minimum of two puppy
vaccinations, regular de-worming, a thorough Veterinary examination, and are
implanted with a Microchip for permanent identification. It
is important to us that we provide our puppies with as many safe socialization
experiences while in our care, so that they are well rounded and ready to join
their new family environment. Our puppies are then sent home with a
Puppy Starter Kit ( food, toys, treats, collar, leash, etc.), around 8 weeks of age.
The focus of our breeding program is to breed for
Quality not Quantity, and we are always willing to share more detailed
information about our dogs and their selected mates with our prospective new
puppy families.
